Our Story - It All Started with a Headache.
We never planned to start a brand about Chinese medical wellness. It all began with a sudden headache.
One afternoon, my husband — an American living in China — felt sharp pain behind his eyes. Within minutes, an ambulance arrived.
The ride cost around 25USD. At the hospital, he received an MRI, multiple IV drips, and CT work — the entire treatment was under 150USD. A follow‑up EEG test was just about 30USD.
When we shared this online, people abroad were amazed:


"I've waited months for an MRI."
"My ambulance ride cost thousands."
"Even with insurance, I can't get treated on time."
That moment opened our eyes. China — a nation of over 1.4 billion people — has achieved extraordinary efficiency and access in healthcare. Yet for foreign patients, those resources feel distant due to language, culture, and system barriers.
We realized that while not every patient can travel far when seriously ill, China's private and international hospitals, wellness resorts, and Traditional Chinese Medicine experts offer world-class care and preventive health experiences — often within days, not months.
From this realization, Cure in China was born.
Our mission is to build a bridge between East and West, combining Traditional Chinese Medicine, Somatic awareness, and modern science to create a new standard for preventive health and wellness travel.
Through our partner hospitals and retreat destinations, clients receive expert check-ups, acupuncture, meditation, and personalized care in China's most beautiful and peaceful settings.
